We have been operating in Bolivia, Argentina and Chile since 1996 and we have guiding experience on all of the major 6000m peaks in the area.

Bolivia, still the most untouched country in all of South America, has a lot to offer. From its large salt flats to the second highest mountain range in the world, connected by wild rivers to some of the most un-spoilt jungles anywhere.

Taking part in any trip in Bolivia is an authentic experience. With its Colonial cities and ruins of ancient civilizations, combined with a large indigenous population and lots of tradition, Bolivia guarantees a rewarding experience.

Thinking of trying some these experiences on your own? We can help you with logistics, equipment rental, transport, mules or porters. Or maybe you just need information? Come and talk to us before you leave for your adventure!

Trekking and rafting from Pelechuco to Rurrenabaque

This year we are offering a new, exciting trek and rafting trip. It starts in Pelechuco, North of La Paz in the Apolobamba, and goes all the way down to Rurrenabauqe through the heart of the Madidi national park.

This has to be one of my favorite treks, as the level of difficulty is not too hard. However, most of it follows old Inca trails through virgin forest. You really get the feel of being out there, especially with the spectacular views!

It starts at a height of 4800m and goes down to 400m, crossing the entire upper Amazon rain forest.

Once we reach the Rio Tuichi, after 6 days of trekking, we hop on the rafts and head down some class 4 white water rapids! On this part we spend 5 days rafting the upper part of the Tuichi through a canyon, which is the best part of the river, before arriving at San Jose de Chupiamonas. From there we jump on a motor boat down to Rurrenabaque for a celebration dinner before we fly back to La Paz.

There are no other companies offering this type of trip in Bolivia. We are the first to do this style of travel!

Salar de Uyuni

We are running our Ojos del Salado and Aconcagua trip again!

This trip is a great way to climb the highest mountains in the Andes of South America.

The first part takes us around the southern part of the Atacama desert were we climb several mountains before attempting Ojos Del Salado. This program starts out quite slow, which helps us to acclimatize. We also have the chance to see a variety Andean wildlife.

The second part takes us south to the city of Mendoza, where we enter Aconcagua National Park. Our ascent is fast compared to other programs, but because of our acclimatization on Ojos Del Salado it will feel quite easy.

The Chilean high desert plateau, east of Copiapó and above Chañaral, is well known by world mountaineers as it is the highest concentration of six thousand meter peaks between mountains and volcanoes. During this trip we propose that you climb these two giants, first Vn. Copiapó as part of your acclimatization and then Vn. Ojos del Salado, the highest volcano in the world. During the trip we will come across places of amazingly beautiful and diverse nature, and from the summits the 360 degree view is beyond description. After our attempt on Ojo`s del Salado we drive through Argentina heading south towards Mendoza. From Mendoza we head out to Aconcagua. The highest mountain in the America’s, our attempt will be a quick ascent as we will have a acclimatized on Ojo’s del Salado. On this trip we will see very different regions and cultural differences.
